Yellow House are unofficially the toast of St Joseph Primary once again after winning the inter-house sports for a second consecutive year at Grantley Adams Secondary School grounds today.
It was a close battle but when the curtains came down on the day’s exciting activities, Yellow House were tops with 330 points, just ahead of the second placed Blue House with 327 and Red House on 324 points for third place.
Queen of the track Brieanna Boyce of Blue House was in terrific form as she dismissed the field in every event to end the day with 40 points and the victrix ludorum title in the under-13 girls division. Boyce came into the meet with ten points from winning the 600m open at the school and went on to increase her tally when she opened the day by winning the 100m, 200m and 400m comfortably.

Victrix ludorum Brieanna Boyce of Blue House was all class as she won all her races ahead of main rival Alicia Miller of Yellow House in the under-13 girls division.
Khalid Padmore of Red House with 38 points took away the victor ludorum trophy and he also came into the day with ten points having won the 800m at school. He showed his form today by winning the 200m and 400m but came second in the 100m behind Isaiah Quimby of Yellow House.
Victor ludorum went to the fastest boy at St Joseph Primary Khalid Padmore of Red House, in the under-13 division.
The under-11 girls division went to Imani Firebrace of Yellow House with 28 points. She won the 200m and 400m but had to settle for second in the 100m behind Nakeena Harding of Blue House and third in the 600m open. In the boys under-11 age group, Zane Cox collected 24 points and stamped his authority for Red House. He won the 100m, came second in the 400m and placed third in the 200m.
Imani Firebrace was victorious in the 200m and also topped the under-11 girls division for Yellow House.
Zane Cox of Red House won the under-11 boys 100m convincingly.
Kyra Williams of Red House topped the under-nine girls division with 26 points after her efforts in winning the 80m, taking second in the 100m and 150m behind Miracle Collymore of Blue House. Meanwhile Jacobi Mayers of Yellow House had his way in the under-nine boys as he won the 80m and 100m and came second in the 150m behind Jucario Sealy of Blue House.
Miracle Collymore was victorious in the under-nine girls 100m for Blue House.
